This vintage from the Estate once again highlights the distinctive characteristics of fruit grown in the Howell Mountain AVA. Juicy, fleshy dark fruit and sturdy tannins have contributed to a wine that represents a beautiful combination of strength and finesse.
Winemaker’s Notes
Intense aromatics of raspberry sauce, black cherry, toasted sesame, cookie dough, with melted chocolate, roasted thyme, strawberry and baking spices. Silk entry of fresh caramel, cherry and vanilla bean. Rich mid palate of chocolate croissant, enticing and full balanced finish of espresso and black cherry.

Napa Valley
The cabernet sauvignon that forms the base of this Bordeaux blend comes from fruit grown in a vineyard that sits near the top of Howell Mountain. This wine is full of exuberance while maintaining its elegance. Blending the cabernet sauvignon with other Bordeaux varietals have enabled us to create what we believe captures the essence of an expertly crafted Bordeaux blend.
Winemaker’s Notes
A vibrant cherry juice entry with dark chocolate mocha, strawberry, and milk chocolate with hints of cherry bark, coconut flesh, brown butter sage and espresso bean. Rich and creamy entry of German chocolate cake, rich caramel and dusted cocoa powder. Silky finish of blueberry tart and cappuccino.

This second vintage from the Estate highlights the benefits of the vineyard becoming more mature and continues to show the distinctive characteristics of fruit grown in the Howell Mountain AVA.
Winemaker’s Notes
Milk chocolate, brambled blackberry, dusted cocoa powder, salted dough, mocha, and candied strawberry with hints of maple, cedar and brown butter. Incredible velvet entry of raspberry sorbet, quenching crushed cherries, Nilla wafer, watermelon rind to a dense mid palate. Well integrated tannins in the mid to a lush and full long-lasting finish of new leather, dark chocolate covered cherry and vanilla.

The cabernet sauvignon that formed the base of this Bordeaux Blend comes from fruit grown in a vineyard that is tucked into a narrow portion of the northern valley floor in the St. Helena AVA. Recent blending sessions with other Bordeaux varietals have enabled us to create what we believe captures the essence of a Napa Valley Bordeaux blend.
Winemaker’s Notes
Cherries Jubilee, fresh tobacco, strawberry, powdered sugar and vanilla bean with hints of anise and espresso. A rich juicy entry and tart cherry acidity to a creamy mid palate of creme brûlée and fleshy plum and nectarine skin. Dusted cinnamon and milk chocolate covered caramel on the finish.

This initial offering from the Estate vineyard boasts all of the things you would expect from a wine made from fruit grown in the Howell Mountain AVA.
NOTES
Concentrated flavors of black cherry, blackberry, chocolate and a hint of spice shine through. The tannins are silky elegance and balance the wine perfectly. Given the relatively young age of the vines, the wine is approachable in its youth and will age gracefully.
